ABOUT US

SSUBI LYAMUKAMA
Ssubi Lyamukama is a community-focused organization based in Kampala, Uganda, working to improve the wellbeing of vulnerable people through practical community development initiatives.

Our four key areas of work are:
Education | Health | Clean Water | Shelter
We believe that when people have access to the basic necessities of life and the opportunity to develop their potential, communities become stronger and more resilient.

We work to:
Identify — Understand the challenges facing communities.
Support — Provide practical assistance where it is needed most.
Empower — Help individuals and communities become stronger and more independent.
Sustain — Promote solutions that can continue benefiting communities for years to come.

Our Mission
To empower vulnerable people and communities by providing access to essential services, creating opportunities, and supporting sustainable solutions that improve quality of life.

Our Vision
A Uganda where every person has access to quality education, good health, clean and safe water, and decent shelter, regardless of their circumstances.
WHY OUR WORK MATTERS
Many vulnerable communities face several challenges at the same time. A child may struggle to stay in school because their family lacks income. A community may have limited access to clean water, increasing health risks. Families may also live in unsafe housing. That is why Ssubi Lyamukama takes an integrated approach.
Education, health, water, and shelter are connected. Improving one area can positively affect the others and help communities move toward a more secure future.
